A refrigerant charging weight scale is a specialized electronic or mechanical scale used by HVAC and refrigeration technicians to accurately weigh refrigerant as it is added to or removed from a system. It ensures the correct amount of refrigerant is used, preventing overcharging or undercharging, which is crucial for system efficiency and longevity. These scales feature slip-resistant platforms, digital displays with backlights for easy viewing, and often a zeroing function for precise measurements.
Features:
High accuracy and resolution
Programmable controller,quantitative charging and recovering
Memory of the last setting, quick start
Four units options:kg,Lbs,oz,lbs&oz
Display the power status in real time
Power-saving mode can be turned on or off
Overload alarm
Valve specifications
Max working pressure : 600 Psi
IN/OUT fittings: 1/4 SAE male
Operating temperature: -10ºC~50ºC

How it Works
Placement: The refrigerant cylinder is placed on the scale's platform.
Measurement: The scale measures the weight of the refrigerant in the cylinder.
Charging/Recovery: The technician then charges the system with the required amount of refrigerant, or recovers refrigerant by weighing the cylinder before and after the process.
Accuracy: The scale provides a precise weight reading on its digital display, allowing the technician to stop the process at the exact moment the correct amount is transferred.
